“G’DAY” from… Arthur Pateras
We first met Arthur in Sydney the night before the Haulin’ the Hume run out of Sydney in 2019. Art and his son were sitting around the camp fire and we got to yakking – as you do.
Now Art has found Truckin with Kermie and is on board.
Here are some pics of Art’s “Old Banger,” - his words, not mine. A 1990 Kenworth K100E, the truck has been in Art’s possession for 20 years, having bought it from Gilbert & Roach.
In a bit of a quandary, Art is thinking of putting it on Club Reg… or maybe putting it back on the road. Either way, it looks as though he will have to wait until COVID is over, which will give him a bit of time to make up his mind.
