G’DAY from… Jamie Head

Jamie lives in Adelaide and sent in a couple of pics of his new ‘Money Pit’.

At 47, Jamie took the plunge and bought his own rig. This is the first truck Jamie has owned and he’s mighty proud of it – as he should be.

A 2007 Western Star Constellation, the truck is powered by a Gen II 550 with a 740 programme in it. It has an 8 inch sports from the manifold all the way through.. With 1.4 million kilometres on the clock, the truck had a full outer chassis rebuild 200,000km ago.

At the moment Jamie’s working local, pulling a bogey tipper and subbing to SA Profiling, thanks to mate tipping him into the job.

Whilst he’s grateful for the work, Jamie’s keen to get back to Linehaul, having previously worked for HPS Transport

Congratulations on being a proud, first time ‘father’ Jamie, and thanks for coming on board with Truckin with Kermie. Glad you like our yarns.

Stay safe mate
