Scania’s 2,250 Reasons to Celebrate the New Year
Written By Graham 'Kermie' Harsant
Scania (Great Britain) has won a major order for a minimum of 2,250 trucks from Consortium Purchasing (CP).
CP is an operation led by William Stobart who is the Executive Chairman of GreenWhiteStar Acquisitions – which in turn owns Eddie Stobart, iForce etc. and Allan Jenkinson (owner of AW Jenkinson Forest Products).
Confused? So am I.
We’ll leave it here with the observations that Scania is a pretty happy truck company right now; that Bill Stobart is richer than anyone I (and probably you) know; and that I’d love to see the commission cheque the salesman got.
