Industry pays respect to Johnno McCarroll
I’m saddened to hear the news today of Johnno McCarroll’s battle with cancer. Shepparton based Johnno is a legend around these parts. Such is the affection with which he is regarded that a convoy was arranged to drive past his home.
WIN TV carried this bulletin in their news tonight. I last met with Johnno almost exactly a year ago to discuss his life in ‘retirement’. As he said at the time he was ‘Living the Dream’, road testing Freightliner’s new Cascadia. I will bring you that story in the near future.
Meanwhile Johnno, my thoughts and those of the entire trucking industry are with you mate.
